OUR
FUNDING

You are invited to make a difference in the lives of our special residents, joining many committed family members, employees, Board members, businesses and individuals in the community, event participants and donors who generously give of themselves. You can support our mission to enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities by joining the Board of Directors; attending our annual “Day at the Races” fundraiser, or by making a tax-deductible contribution to Cornerstone Community Homes, which is a California Nonprofit Benefit Corporation.

Your Donation Means the World to US!

JOIN OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Meetings are held six times a year at Cornerstone’s administrative office in our multi-purpose conference room. The Board is responsible for governing the organization; participating in fundraising activities; supporting the agency by making an investment of personal experience, skills and knowledge; and advocating for the developmentally disabled population.

MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS

We are grateful for monetary contributions, which help us provide quality care for our clients, training for employees, and capital improvements for our homes. Cornerstone Community Homes is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax deductible.

DONATE GOODS OR SERVICES

You may also help us through the donation of goods or services. Our residents would love to receive arts and crafts supplies, games, puzzles, videotapes, DVDs, or gift cards. We occasionally have a need for sturdy wood furniture such as end or coffee tables, nightstands, dressers or chairs (with no upholstery), and other household items in good, working condition.

LEGACY GIFTING

A legacy gift is a donation that is made through your estate plan, such as a will, trust, retirement account, charitable income gift, or charitable gift annuity. By making a legacy gift to our organization, you can help ensure that our work continues for generations to come. At the same time, a legacy gift can also provide tax benefits and other advantages for you as well as for your loved ones.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Our Board is responsible for governing the organization; participating in fundraising activities; supporting the agency through fundraising and a personal investment of experience, skills, and knowledge.
