ABOUT
US
Cornerstone Community Homes is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization providing exceptional residential services to adults who have autism and other developmental disabilities.
We were founded in 1984 as Exodus, Inc. by the parents of children with severe autism so that their children could grow and thrive in a home environment rather than in a state institution.
Today we have seven single-family group homes in suburban Marin County serving developmentally disabled adults from age 18 to 59 who lead full and rich lives.
Each resident receives a high level of staff support in daily living activities such as grooming and hygiene, communication and social skills, and participation in community activities.
An individualized plan is designed by a licensed clinician to help each resident reduce or eliminate problematic behaviors through the development of replacement skills and to help each resident attain other self-help goals.
EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
We operate seven homes that provide 24-hour personal care and habilitation to support the development of skills. Each home is licensed and monitored by Community Care Licensing and overseen by qualified administrators who are knowledgable about Title 17 & Title 22 regulations.
